About Us

ArimaEco is dedicated to renewable energy solutions that are economically effective and environmentally progressive, and was established on March 2007. It is incorporated by Arima Group, Unity Optoeletronics and Dr. Andrew Tzeng, a PV specialist.

The major product of the company right now is GaAs triple junction high concentration photovoltaic (HCPV) module with 400W output, and stand alone HCPV system with trackers and inverters range from 400W to 3kW.

We will also integrate the solar modules and solar tracker into a standard 3kW on grid HCPV system. We are marketing the HCPV modules, the PV systems and PV stations with multiplier of 3kW system. We can also accept the request of special on grid or stand alone PV system design, which may use crystalline Si modules, thin film modules, and/or GaAs HCPV modules depending on the contraint of the installation site.

Vision

Our vision is to be an HCPV system total solution provider with first tier technology and a cost effective CPV module manufacturer for the CPV system integrator worldwide.
Quality policy:

Customer Focus, Total Involvement and Continual Improvement.
Environmental Policy:
Build up a safe, low pollution and reuse of resource enterprise environment.

Prospect

We believe that the concentration technology can reduce its costs through the acquisition of experience faster than the flat panel technology, which will eventually lead to a more competitive cost for the mass supply of electrical energy. The cost down potential of HCPV will be two to three-fold cost reduction schedule within next three to five years.
With >300X concentration, the material cost of the key component, solar cell is no longer a constraint to the further cost reduction as in our counter past of Si crystalline material. Also the conversion efficiency of triple junction solar cell can be >50% in quantity production in the near future.
Then, when some other innovative optical and structural integrated design can further reduce the weight of module and increase the power output of the module, a further effective cost reduction of our CPV system is highly possible to hit the cost target of $1.50/Wp which is comparable to fissile power generation cost.

Head-Line News

ArimaEco's HCPV is awarded 300kW in ISFOC's 1.3MW bidding in 2007. ISFOC is one of the most important institutes of HCPV technologies in the world, and ArimaEco is the only one awardee in Asia in this bidding. More Info...
ISFOC
ArimaEco's HCPV modules will pass IEC-62108 test in 2008 and our HCPV system will be installed at the ISFOC site in Spain in 2008. Our policy is to provide high quality HCPV system and we will do our best to reduce the costs of solar energy through the acquisition of experience.
