◎ Introduction
Arima Eco's CPV technology utilizes highly efficient triple-junction solar cells in combination with high-concentration optics and achieves 23-25% conversion efficiency at a concentration ratio about 500 suns.
The CPV modules are designed for high efficiency, long-term reliability and durability under prolonged exposure. With such, Arima Eco’s modules have recently completed IEC 62108 CPV qualification standard.
The CPV module is constructed with lightweight Al frame and plastic PBT side supports, where the mechanical robustness is verified by mechanical load test and hail impact test of IEC 62108 qualification standard. A concentrator receiver comprises 24 cell assemblies mounted onto an aluminum plate at the bottom of the CPV module providing thermal dissipation. Light weight of module implies the loading on tracker is relatively lower, which in turns reduces the construction cost of tracker.
