    ArimaEco's HCPV technology combines multi-junction solar cells and the high-concentration Fresnel lens into a HCPV module. The module achieves greater than 20% conversion efficiency at about 476 suns.

    We use 8 to 24 modules to form a sub-array, and integrate the sub-arrays and solar tracker to form a standard HCPV system. Our singular aspects are as the follows:
1) Simple optical design with effective heat dissipation.
2) Simple design implies ease of massive manufacturing and easier quality control on the production line.
3) Sacrifice of some optical system performance to exchange for stability and durability through the easement of mass manufacturing. We have achieved ~23% module efficiency and 18~20% system efficiency depending on the cell efficiency grouping.
4) Light weight module via implementation of PMMA, Al-frame and other plastic material etc.
5) Light weight of module implies the loading on tracker is relatively lower. This in turn will reduce the construction cost of tracker.
6) Modular design allows our HCPV system to be shipped in any part of the world for easy installation. Typically the sub-array of modules will be assembled in factory and shipped out. If in large quantities, the assembly can be moved to the site to further reduce the shipping cost by using cargo container to ship the module stacks. The tracker and sub-array will be always assembled at the site.
7) Our modular design also allows a flexible sub-array size design through the change of frame design to fit into different tracker designs which may vary among different manufacturers. This allows us or builder of our HCPV system a much wider tracker type selection.
8) Low cost potential: The modular design by using the material and components commonly used in IT and Optoelectronic industry allows us to manufacture the components such as receiver, submount, Fresnel lens, and chip separately. When the quantities are increased, our experience on IT or Optoelectronic industries has guaranteed a two to three-fold cost reduction schedule within three to five years.

    ArimaEco's HCPV modules are used to build arrays of varying sizes depending on application needs. The arrays are mounted on dual-axis tracking frames. Shown here is our HCPV sub-arrays, that are integrated with the FEiNA's SF20 Tracker. This system will be installed at the ISFOC site in Spain in 2008.

    ArimaEco's HCPV modules will pass IEC-62108 test in 2008 and our HCPV system will be installed at the ISFOC site in Spain in 2008. Our policy is to provide high quality HCPV system and we will do our best to reduce the costs of solar energy through the acquisition of experience.
